Tools introduction, this week the router, everyone has a turn (not all are photographed).

Arthur on the router.

Ian on the router.

Geoff tries his hand on the router.

Next is the disk sander, working only on the left of the disk and keep the wood moving.

Keith uses the disc sander for the outside curves.

Then Keith uses the bobbin sander to sand the inside of a push-stick",  which is used to push timber through the bandsaw (or anywhere your fingers might be at risk).

It is important that everyone is shown how to safely use each tool -even if they feel that particular tool is familiar to them.

If you are ever unsure about any tool or task, just stop and ask.
