So we are building Skiffs, but there are two main types of little vessel refered to as Skiffs, separated broadly speaking into the traditional definition and the modern.
Traditional Skiffs
Here is the Wikipedia link, which gives both the traditional definition of a skiff (a rowing boat) and the modern use of the word (high speed, light racing dinghy)

St Ayles Skiff
The St Ayles design created by Iain Oughtred for the Anstruther Fisheries Museum has become something of a phenomenon since the project's launch in 2010.

With one eye on the national community boating scene we were "early adopters" of the St Ayles skiff (our first two boats were also Iain Oughtred designs). Byker Belle was our first St Ayles with more to follow.
